For instance, it's sharing a bottle of red with my best friend on her little balcony, laughing until we cry, rigatoni and sauce at my Nonni’s house chatting about the old days with my late Papa, learning a regional Spanish dialect from my boyfriend’s mom, and of course my parent’s place, where no matter how stressed or tired I am, I’m taken care of. These all have three things in common - the people I love, me, and our beloved city of Denver. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\" dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI've gotten to delight in stories about old Denver through the lenses of my parents and grandparents, who were all born and raised here - the department stores they shopped, the restaurants they frequented, and what city life was like, decades ago.
