Our Story
A love of creating, a desire to be timeless, and a deep appreciation for life's many intersections.
These are what inspired Jacob Lutito-Koch to start Twenty Eighth & May, along with the changing seasons, delights of the past and wisdom of knowing it's the seemingly-small things that mean the most, weaving the fabric of our lives.
From childhood, Jacob has loved to express himself through a variety of art mediums; with cooking and writing as his deep and grounding foundations. Into his early twenties, his curiousity evolved into digital storytelling, creating feelings through photos and captions. Although he's quenched this creative thirst through personal and client work and continues to do so, he always felt there was something behind the camera or in the pages - something that which he had complete creative control and direction. The missing piece was Twenty Eighth & May.
While we constantly find ourselves in the in-betweens of life, Twenty Eighth & May is the intersection where something wonderful is always just around the corner. Where nostalgia meets novelty for coffee, where pictures and poetry dance under the street lamps, where classics and comfort hold hands on the bench. It's the intersection of where who we are meets who we're becoming, our tastes and traditions meeting new adventures and possibilities for the very first time.
We hope that you find a companion in Twenty Eighth & May as you navigate your personal intersections - that our products accompany you like a best friend, becoming forever accessories in your own remarkable story.
